The decision to purchase LWS follows an extensive period of due diligence and negotiation, which will allow us to seamlessly integrate the business into our operations under MPT Group Accountants & Advisers.

This transitional phase represents an exciting time for our client networks, who can now take full advantage of our consolidated offerings and combined 70 years of experience delivering personalised accounting and taxation services.

Through this purchase we achieve an important component of our long-term growth strategy, while immediately enhancing our competitive edge and reputation as a market-leading practice in Australia.

Significant planning has been undertaken by our human resourcing team to ensure there will be no disruptions to clients as part of the acquisition.

Existing LWS employees will not be affected by redundancies or role changes as part of the business purchase – considerably growing our current resourcing capabilities.

We will also be retaining the LWS office at Level 4, 222 Kings Way, South Melbourne, providing us with an attractive new CBD-fringe address that will help secure new talent moving forward.

The MPT family would also like to recognise the tremendous contribution of the late Gary Liddell for his involvement during the process, as well as current LWS Director Kevin Weight, who, with his four decades of experience, will greatly complement our practice.
